Supercritical Anti-Solvent Machine (SAS)

When activator-dissolving solvent mixes with supercritical fluid CO2, the solvent is substantially more soluble in CO2 than the solute, allowing the precipitation of target activators. The supercritical fluid is then allowed to gasify to separate from the solvent for recycle.

  1. Micronization or encapsulation of proteins, enzymes, or lipids
